Routes Learning is a transitional education service that works alongside a range of key stakeholders to support our young people to reengage in learning, particularly for those that are out of an education or training placement.
We aim to support those individuals in a measured reintegration process that is coordinated with their existing or new school/ college setting where they can then access a broader range of qualifications and training opportunities.
Working within a range of education or training settings; including mainstream primary / secondary, SEN or work placements, we can support our young people to engage and integrate using a step-down approach.
We recognise that for a successful integration, the young person and the supporting team, need to feel confident and secure in their settings. Our team will work closely with staff to support best practice of working with the young person, as well as fostering positive working relationships and building a rapport with key staff.
Once the young person feels secure in their new placement and confident to attend with a greater sense of independence, our supporting team will withdraw to allow the education or training placement to continue.
