Routes Learning is an Alternative Provision service that aims to support and provide opportunities for young people to reach specific outcomes; whether these be educational, training or employment focussed. At Routes Learning we want to build confidence, develop a sense of identity and build the skills and attributes needed within the young people we work with to help them face the challenges of the world we live in today.
Our team of mentors and qualified teachers have a wealth of experience in supporting young people in a variety of educational settings, including community and home environments. Our aim is to not replicate what an individual might receive in a main stream setting or at a specialist provision, but instead develop a support programme that is holistically built around specific outcomes and needs. We recognise the importance of educational milestones but equally understand that the route taken to reach these will vary for each individual. We recognise the importance of working cooperatively with key stakeholders such as Local Authorities, Schools, Colleges and other Alternative Provisions to ensure the best outcomes for our young people.
