Our son has Pathological Demand Avoidance, so everyday things, including learning can be very difficult for him. Dan placed a lot of importance on building strong relationships and really got to know our son. This helped him provide tailored support and our son really enjoyed positive interactions with Dan in the outside world, after a long spell of isolation. When our son was ready, Dan supported him to transition into a school setting. He consistently advocated for his needs, helped staff understand him and enabled a smooth and successful transition.
